DOC ROBINSON TO RELEASE FIRST SINGLE IN 2 YEARS, “TAKE ME BY THE HAND”

A FAVORITE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED BY THEIR LOYAL FANBASE

A soulful anthem inspired by the writings of Graham Hancock and Terrance McKenna.

UPCOMING SINGLE : "Take Me by the Hand"

RELEASE DATE: JULY 9, 2021

“Take Me By The Hand” was written by Nick D’Andrea and Jon Elliott in the Spring of 2018, shortly after they started renting an office space-turned-creative hub at a Columbus art co-op called The Plastic Waffle.

In between a few nationwide runs with the band CAAMP, Doc Robinson went into Vital Music Studio in Columbus Ohio to record “Take Me by the Hand”. D’Andrea would later announce his departure from the band, leaving Elliott and the other members to decide the fate of the song, and the band.

Still reeling from this announcement, amid calls from their fanbase to keep going and release “Take Me by the Hand”, Doc Robinson forged on after landing a direct support slot for a string of Midwest dates with up-and-comers The Brook & The Bluff which ended just one week before the Covid-19 pandemic shut down the live touring industry.

For the first time since February 2019, Doc Robinson returns to the stage for the Wonderbus Music & Arts Festival alongside Wilco, Grouplove, Black Pumas and more. They will host their first post-pandemic show in their hometown of Columbus, OH at the popular mainstay Ace of Cups in Fall 2021.
